It definitely is one of the cutest expressions toes can make.
It's hard coming up with a word to describe it - they're not gestures, like hands, they're not poses or positions, like arms and legs and bodies ... I think it's more accurate to think of it as toes give off expressions, more like faces. They express happiness, sadness, boredom, excitement, fear, etc...
